Rate Showan oasis in the sand trap of life
A few years ago there was a commercial with the tag line "Calgon, take me away". Golfsmarter Podcast does just that. I listen to this fantastic, informative and entertaining podcast on my bus ride home every Wednesday evening. Sometimes, again on Friday if I am going to play over the weekend. I, at times catch myself making motions in my seat while Fred is digging drills out of his guests such as my grip (on my breifcase handle ) or if no one is sitting next to me, taking my make believe 3 wood away with a sweeping motion. I just can't get enough!! I would and do recomend this podcast to every golfer I come across. TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!

Great Listening
I love the info. Even if they're not talking about the fundementals, you'll learn them just from the conversation.

Best golf podcast
I listen to several golf-related Podcasts and this is the best of all. Host Fred Greene does a great job choosing guests that cover a wide range of golf topics from health and fitness to the mental game, coaching and game improvement, equipment, and the tour pros. Also, the Podcast features a regular segment with the technical specialist from Edwin Watts Golf who provides honest, unbiased advice and recommendations on equipment selection for players of all abilities. The content of this Podcast has impacted all aspects of my golf game including my approach to practice and instruction, fitness and injury avoidance, and equipment purchasing. I strongly recommend this Podcast to anyone who plays golf.

Boost to the mental game
I would like to thank Edwin Watts and Fred Greene for this podcast. I have learned a lot about the different aspects of my game. I have enjoyed the mental aspects very much and it has translated into lower scores! Most of all, I enjoy the positive vibe that I get from tuning in. It is like listening to a conversation between close friends. These people are excited about life and golf. It is refreshing to see the passion put into action.

Great stuff for the "Average" golfer
This is really good stuff. It allows you to learn some new stuff and get insight on new technology. Fred does a good job keeping the show new and interesting. Kenny doesn't try to sell anything but gives you an idea if you really need it and what you should look for.

Superb golf podcast, very informational for the non-technical/mechanical aspect of golf
This is a great podcast about golf. It has alot of great older podcasts in the archive that are worth downloading, and the newer podcasts keep getting better and better. Hats off to Fred Greene for a great job. I particularly like the fact that it is sponsored by Edwin Watts Golf, because they frequently offer contests to give away brand new equipment to the listeners. Other than the giveaways, the sponsor has no real influence on the podcast which is great because it is NOT just like an infomercialcast to advertise Edwin Watts equipment.

Quality & Depth
Fred Greene is a real pro, radio & podcast wise. The guests are high quality and the interviews have real depth. I love that he covers the "inner game" as well as other aspects of the great game of golf. Production values are as good as any radio show. A worthy download and some of the shows are good enough that I've enjoyed having them on my ipod and listened to them more than once. Birdies & pars to ya! ;)

Well done!
Since finding the Golf Smarter Podcasts about 2 months ago, I have listened to each new one and am almost caught up on all the archived podcasts. When I can't get to the course, its great to spend my commute listening to golf tips and course descriptions. You can pick topics you would like to listen to, or just listen straight through as I do. I live in Sonoma County in N. California, so often there are courses that I have either played or would like to. Listen in, it's worth the time and makes a commute fly by!

Warning!! Very addictive!!
Fred Greene does an awesome job at interviewing his guests. There is sooo much information here it'll blow your mind. This is one definite way to improve your game, not only mechanically, but mentally! Which for me was a big, big, BIG help!

Time listening well spent.
I have found the podcasts to be information that every golfer can use. Fred has done an excellent job of getting into the mental and physical aspects of the game. I have never been bored with any of the podcasts I have heard.

Best of the Bunch!
I have recently gotten into playing golf, so I thought that I would look around to see if there were any interesting golf podcasts to listen to, and boy did I find one (two!) here. Of all the golf podcasts that I came across "Golf Smarter" and "Golf Better" were the best audio podcasts by far. The host is excellent, the guests are incredible and the discussions are interesting and valuable. Kudos Fred! You've got a couple of definate winners! I look forward to continuing to expand my golf knowledge by continuing to listen to your podcasts.

Great Way to Lower Scores
This is a great tool to lower your scores. I am a huge fan and have been listening for a long time. This, in addition to the Golf Better podcast, is a great way to make your game better.

Golf Smarter Podcast
This is one of my favorite podcasts. I listen to it weekly and it has really helped my golf. The 'casts on Zen golf are great and the technical explanations with Kenny from Edwin Watts are informative. I can now go to a golf shop without feeling stupid!! I recommend this for anyone interested in different ways of approaching the game.

Great Podcast
This is a great podcast about golf. Reviews of courses, practical suggestions, answers to questions and email. As well as reviews of equipment. Fred does a great job, so does Kenny.

Golf Smarter - Podcast
I found out about Golf Smarter in iTunes. Your show is practical and really convenient to listen to. Beat's trying to get up at 8am on Saturday to listen to "Hooked On Golf"...on KNBR - 68, which I never attempt to do. Golf Smarter allows me to listen at my convenience. You have a lot of really great content, and when I listen to I hope your show continues for years to come. I use a 2nd Gen Shuffle which is clipped onto the back of my golf hat to listen to podcasts when I run errands.
I listen to Golf Smarter at my convenience in my den using a iHome Boombox and if I'm listening to a golf writer talk about the mental aspects of the putting, the swing, etc., I want to be able to listen and absorb the content. Golf Smarter Rocks!

If you love golf - you've got to listen!
Golf Smarter is my favorite podcast. I have downloaded and listened to nearly every episode. Fred Greene covers a wide variety of topics that will appeal to the beginner as well as the advanced golfer. Have a listen - you will not be disappointed.

Fred Greene can improve your game!
Really, listening to Fred can and will improve your game. He does great interviews with great guests. Don't believe me, listen to his podcasts with Michael Murphy (Golf in the Kingdom), Fred Shoemaker (Extraordinary Golf), legendary golf caddy Rabbit... and he asks them great questions. I look forward to downloading this podcast every Tuesday night, and you should too!

Great, A must have for serious golfers
By far my favorite golf podcast, liked it so much I downloaded every episode. I now look forward to my commute to and from work. A must have for anyone serious about golf. Very intuitive....plus they give stuff away for free! What could beat that?

golf smarter excells
Whats not love about the golf smarter podcast? This podcast provides excellent information about improving your golf game. Fred Greene's guests provide tips on technique, hints on the mental aspect of the game, equipment information & giveaways, and common sense instruction to improve everyones enjoyment of the game. I think this is a great example what podcasting was meant to be. An entertaining and informative weekly show targeted at a specific topic. Keep up the great work Fred.

Golf smarter podcast
This podcast is excellent. It gives great tips and keeps up my passion for the game over the long upper Midwest winters. All golfers can pick up tips and great discussions from this cast. A must have.
